Turmeric and Ginger Tea

Healing Tea with Turmeric and Ginger


2 cups water
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp raw, local honey
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice



Heat the water in a small saucepan until it is nearly boiling.

Peel the ginger and then grate it to a paste.

Add the grated ginger paste and the turmeric powder to the water.

Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Strain the liquid into a mug and stir in the honey and lemon juice.

Drink while still hot.
